.rar is a archive file like zip but it splits the file into smaller chunks. You just download each individual file and then open the first file, your archive program (winzip, etc) will then join and extract the file in the archive. All of the files on that site a wmv and avi files when finished. They are very watchable and I have had no problems with the few files I tested from there.
